Is it possible to extreme coupon in Omaha, NE?

Several years ago I looked into extreme couponing and it just didn't seem like it was feasible in Omaha. Financially I'm at the point where I'm having trouble buying basics. I have SNAP, but that doesn't cover things like soap or shampoo. On top of that, I have sensitive skin and some allergies, so I am incredibly limited in what I can buy. I'm really wanting to figure out how to make the most of my SNAP benefits by taking advantage of local rewards programs so that I can get stuff for free or like a few cents, not dollars. I'm pretty new to this and I'm wondering if it's worth my time considering I live in Omaha. A lot of the sales and good prices seem to be through stores we don't have here.
