Printable Coupons & "Save" insert

Hi, I am new to couponing, so still learning. I follow lots of different accounts & for example this week there is a good sale at CVS for Garnier. They all say they used the printable coupon from Coupons.com, but when I go to the site they are not there, the specific ones they are talking about, using like 1 day ago. My question is, do the printable coupons showing in the site, have a set amount of allowable coupons before they are taken down from the site? X amount of downloads, and that's it? I hope I am making sense. Also, where does everyone get the paper coupons? I got the Sunday newspaper and the "save" insert was not even in it...so what gives.
