What are some things you won’t go super cheap on?
I was curious to see what products or foods you care to spend a little extra on for quality or flavor. Maybe you realized you were spending more money on lower quality product, or could’ve saved money in the long run if you went for a slightly more expensive option in the moment.

First are diapers for my dog. He’s a senior and wears size 2 baby. When I was purchasing the cheapest ones (price per diaper 14¢) from several store generic brands, he could eliminate once and it smelled throughout the room after and hour and give him a rash + leakage. Now I pay for the Luvs brand (it’s extra cute because they have Paw Patrol dogs on them 18¢ ppd). They will still smell when ready to change but not of urine- of that distinct baby diaper smell. No leakage. No rashes

Coffee. I tried for a while to get into very affordable brands, in the bulk bags of 32oz+ or large canisters. It was undrinkable for my boyfriend and I. Either very acidic or barely tasted of coffee, burnt water. I was wasting so much milk and creamer to make it taste better, sometimes I would dump it, something I hate doing. Now I just wait until the 12oz bags are on sale of real coffee brands, not generic store brands or bottom tier and stock up until the next sale.

Eggs. I’m not out here buying $7 or even $5 cartons. But brown eggs taste and feel more nutritious than your typical mass produced white. I’ll pay $2.80-$3.50 for those
