Returns at CVS.. what do you end up getting back?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.. tried searching but couldn't figure it out. I was trying to do the OGX deal, and mistakenly grabbed a treatment that wasn't part of the promotion. So not only did I pay more than I intended but Ialso didn't get back the EB that I was expecting. I used the $6/2 OGX coupon, a $10 off $70 coupon, and quite a few EB... so my receipt shows the "price" of that product as $0.31, even though it also notes that original price is 10.49 and coupon savings as 9.13 (10.49-9.13=$1.36 lol so...????). If I try to return and/or exchange this product for one that's part of the promotion, is there any way to know what I will get back?

I would normally just accept that I did a dumb but I've had a fantastically bad couple of weeks and I'm fixating on the one thing I can potentially fix. Thanks in advance kind couponing friends.
