GOOGLE WALLET + couponing

After I started couponing in 2021, I got an offer for free a nitro Pepsi at Walmart, but it was this odd coupon/payment thing to add to your GOOGLE WALLET (formerly GOOGLE PAY)...

I guess I did add it, but I don't shop at walmart so never used it ..

Today I get a text saying my MICHAEL'S Craft Store REWARDS are expiring but I can add it to my GOOGLE WALLET to save it...

So I clicked that, and it saved it...

So I was exploring this new app (new to me) and it seems that I can save my digital gift cards in it ..

Since I use fetch, ibotta, merryfield, shopkick, etc... it has been complicated remembering which apps I have the gift cards (mostly CVS, target and Chipotle)...

I have 2 questions,

1- if I save a GIFTCARD to my Google wallet, can I still use it from the original app I got/created it??

2- do you have any tips or tricks to using the Google wallet?
