can I get two rebates from different apps?

I'm brand new to couponing and I think I made a big mistake...but I'm also very confused and think maybe it's ok.

I've been following those Instagram or TikTok posts where it shows you EXACTLY what to purchase and what coupons to use. However today I had two refunds of $2 each from both Coupons.com and Shopimum for the same thing ($2 off a Colgate purchase). I ended up buying $5 worth of Colgate in that purchase, so maybe after one app took $2 off because there was still $3 left another app was able to take the coupon off again?

I just don't want to make a big mistake and have my accounts closed just three days into couponing. The coupon app says you can't use any other coupons on the same app yet that seems what everyone does, so I think I'm misunderstanding everything.
