New and sharing some strategies
Hi! I’m new and wanted to share some of my strategies that I’ve picked up over the past decade. On average I save around $2,500 per year my maximum savings with coupons was $6,000 in 2009.
-
Stay organized! I use receipt files from the container store.
-
I use the Receipt Hog app once per week to scan receipts. I found them to be more flexible with receipts versus Ibotta. I recoup about $100 per year.
-
If you utilize CVS Pharmacy for prescriptions/vaccines they give you significant kickbacks. This year I’ve received $250.00 in extra care bucks/coupons.
-
For credit friendly people I recommend the Kohls charge. They give deep discounts year round. I’ve saved $1,000 through Kohls cash/coupons this year.

Hobby Lobby Hacks:
-
Hobby Lobby furniture, custom framing, books, and wearable art are always on sale.
-

-
You can always find a “20% off All Regular Price Purchases” Michaels coupon. Loyalty members get cash back now as well.
-
